The Risen Jesus offers us HOPE – hope for a brighter future – whatever may have been our past. Even in the worst of moments what keeps us going is HOPE. In moments of illness, we hope to get better and be healed, we hope our financial situation will improve, we hope to get a new job or a better job, we hope we will successfully cope with difficult situations in our life, we hope that the tensions within our Family may be resolved and unity and peace may return to our families. Easter reminds us that the death and resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of our hope. The darkest night will pass. We will soon be at the threshold of a new dawn. Every Good Friday will have an Easter Sunday.

ANNOUNCING SHRINE FEAST 2013
The next Shrine Feast will be celebrated
on SATURDAY, 9TH FEBRUARY 2013.
Feast Celebration to be completed before Lent begins with Ash Wednesday on 13th February.
The SHRINE FEAST NOVENA will commence on Thursday, 31st January 2013 and end on Friday, 8th February 2013.
Pilgrims please take note of the Shrine Feast on the 2nd Saturday of February 2013.

Fr. Emil D'Cruz, S.J. has accepted to direct an 8-day Ignatian Retreat at the Shrine commencing Friday, 18th May 2012 -- ending Saturday, 26th May 2012 for Five Sisters (Daughters of the Heart of Mary).
If any other Religious Sister would like to join for an Ignatian Retreat (8 days or 3 days) during that period 18.05.2012 to 26.05.2012, THEY ARE WELCOME !
Boarding and Lodging will be provided by the Shrine at very subsidized rates. Fr. Emil D'Cruz, S.J. will provide personal spiritual guidance.

NEWS THREE
The Shrine Rest House has renovated to provide better accomodation facilities to our pilgrims - the self-contained Rooms have been painted - the toilets have been renovated - with English Toilets for senior citizens.
Accordingly, the Five Self-contained Family Rooms have now been opened to welcome pilgrims from 1st May 2012. The other Family Pilgrim Rooms above the Shrine Hall will still remain available since they have already been renovated earlier.
During this Holiday season, the Shrine Rest House is usually full of pilgrims - with preference given to families rather than to couples - rooms being allotted on a first-come first-served basis.
The Caterer is always available to take your orders for good and wholesome meals at very reasonable rates. Please contact him on arrival and enjoy your stay at the Shrine Rest House.
